That happened to me once on 2 separate orders. The first order, which was only 1 items, they gave me a $10 promo credit. I ended up returning the item. On the second one, it was 1 specific item out of an order of 5 or 6 that came late. The chat CS rep said he'd refund the purchase price (~$10). When I go to check the status, I see he refund the entire ~$100 order.

I still feel bad about that, but ultimately my Rov said it's taus akum, and because it's an online thing with a CS rep probably overseas, who won't know I'm Jewish anyway, there's likely no inyan of kiddush Hashem.

happened to me three times, got ten twice and twenty five one time. Whenever the delivery is Saturday via usps i have issues. Amazon chat on phone said my zip code in Riverdale had s lot of complaints

Lets see when the student cutoff is. The email says I have one more renewal at $39, I'll be charged $49 on October 10, 2015.

ETA: When I go to Your Account > Manage Your Prime Membership, it says "On October 10, 2014, you will be charged $49 for another year of Student Prime." Looks like they have an IT issue.

Does the reduced Prime fee for amazon students last forever or is there a limit on the # of years you get the discounted prime rate with student? Considering locking in a few years at $79 today but if my $49 rate will continue for years it's obviously not worth it. Thanks.

No after 4 years it automatically renews you for a regular amazon prime membership at the higher rate. In any case, since prime is shareable but student prime is not, it is potentially cheaper.
