Got the chips today and did a blind test.

All 3 of us were able to pick out the TJ chips.
The CS chips are sweeter and "grainier". They'll still very good, just not the gold standard that the TJ chips are.

Yes, TJ's flavor and texture is superior.
we spoke to the "Gold Standard" TJ's chips supplier again today.
We have the order info and almost all the cost info --
just confirming the shipping info next and we can soon provide DDF with the costs per 10-case pricing.

However, if we end up with 500+ cases, so that will be tons of wiki names..
How about when you get a group of ten, then you'll sign up at that point?

It's looking like (after shipping TO NY) the bagging will happen at a Kosher facility in NY,
so there is one less shipping cost afterwards. Secondly, those ordering less than 10 cases may be able to pick them up to keep it even cheaper. They are made of top quality chocolate, so we're aiming to complete this run while the East Coast weather is cool.

No major commitment needed yet; but do you want to write name on the wiki? It's mainly to give an idea of the quantities and wholesale/bulk interest.
Aiming for quality over "bargain", with best price possible. You can always get ShopRite if you want cheap.
These will be richer flavor and melt better, etc..

If you are offering people to pick up a case in Ny, where is the location? Who is going to be selling it? Taking the money? Meaning, are u sure it will be cheaper if u have to pay someone for that.

For those of us in the West Coast, we would have to pay the first shipping included in the price, and then another shipping

We were first getting an idea of the quantity/interest. Groups of 10 cases is a where we're starting.

planning for it to be top quality, but cheaper than the "Enjoy Life choc chips" and other cc from Whole Foods.

I still have almost a case from the Parve Trader Joe's batch, B"H!
We're still savoring them.. When we bought them in May 2012, the expiration date said March 2014

They are still quite fresh. If these are from the same manufacturer, then 18+ months is about right.

When you are almost at 10, can you put your name on the wiki so that we have greater accuracy?

We'll be bringing in 100's of cases, but we want the pricing for the cases of 10+ to be reflective of the wholesale numbers.
