We'll eventually get to FBA and Amazon Prime. I'm new to this, but it's perfect shipping chocolate weather now, so we'll try it out. (45 - 70 degrees is ideal) Summer doesn't work, so we hadn't done amazon when we launched....

My question is why do I need to shlep to ORD to get these (relatively) cheap? I haven't seen them in crown Heights for less than $3.49 in a long time. a couple of weeks ago when I was in ORD they were $2.50 at Jewel.

yes, the best prices are in 170+ Jewel stores in the whole state of Illinois on sale for 2/$5 for one more week. It's a great price. Sometimes Lakewood is priced similar. Working to see if the new Lakewood Gourmet Glatt can offer these.

We've offered CH (Empire Kosher, Kol Tuv, etc..) deeper discounted pricing to place a sale and they'd make more profit in the higher sales volumes. Perhaps if several customers explain that they'd buy triple the amount if they were $2.99/bag, then it could work.

okay, Amazon Prime is almost sold out today, so the coupons won't help there -- it's being replenished now. Merchant purchases are still available.

We can also offer 2 free bonus bags to DDF customers who buy and leave a positive Amazon review. Would that work? They'd email us their DDF name and shipping address?

Yes, the list is funny. They also bought the $5 vanilla bean price mistake. Surprisingly, one customer bought 13 six-packs of chocolate chips!

It's good Amazon Prime is still on -- they originally said that April 30 was the last day for free shipping,
which was Pesach. It's cool weather -- they can still ship. This is much lower than any store, but much better to offer at-cost than FBA shipping back to us.

FYI- I just got three bags from Amazon, and the chips are half molten together. Hope you don't get ant negative reviews online. One bag is pretty OK, but the other two...

I got mine, too. I only opened 1 bag, but they're in great condition. And delicious. Good luck on all the deliveries.
