Trader Joe's Parve Chocolate Chips Order

I was gonna get some earlier tonight but ended up just walking out because the guy insisted on charging me a $.25 fee for using a CC under $10 when my purchase was $9.57

Did you go back to get your shopping cart items?
(20 min to fill the cart, 10 min online to be told "no credit card",
and then 20 min to come back to store to buy items....)

1. It wasn't 20 minutes to fill the cart (if it was I would've been well above $10) I went into the store specifically to get chocolate chips and that's all I was buying.

And no, it wasn't "worth it" to save the $.25, but I did it for the principal of the matter.
I'm not against having a minimum purchase for CC's, but I do expect them to be reasonable. If they don't want my business because I'm a few cents short of the limit then so be it.

A loyal DDFer, Dan included, would most probably buy another bag of choc chips for $3.19 to have a $10+ total, and pay by cc and have some great food for Shabbos.

Nah, a loyal DDFer would've never bought them there at $3.19 if he could get them for $2.99

Really great price. That takes work. Cheapest location in the USA. NPGS may have them in all 4 locations. (Is this a Thurs. - Wed. sale? How does it work there?)

It was beginning of week, maybe full week sale?
I hear they ordered the most in the US (2 pallets?)

Would you buy them to keep at work?  I just use real 10 oz bags for snacking at work and close with a "twist-tie".
Wonder what would people pay for a "2-4  serving" bag? This current full-size 10 oz bags contains "19 servings".
It's a great way for Kosherfest attendees to see, feel, taste, smell the product and to share it with their friends and retailers. We gave out hundreds.

In all honesty I probably wouldn't buy them too often because cost wise it's usually cheaper to buy the big bag and make small bags myself.
That being said I think there are others out there that def would buy them.

Not just for adults. I could see parents buying small bags for their kids as well.
