If they're using sCO international 752s for that then its not PS.  PS on the sUA 752 has no economy minus seating and has business and first class, while the sCO 752 does have economy minus and only has business, not first.

The best bargain is using 50K US to fly in First on the sUA aircraft.

IIRC the new PS first seats are the same as the old CO 752 seats just they are putting in 28 seats

The new planes are 2 cabin configuration and the old planes they are using are being serviced as PS out of JFK only not EWR

As much as its hyped AA isn't getting the new a320s any time soons
You flew it?
Quite a few times. Nicest transcon unfortunately. Going Eastwards probably worth connecting onto CX from YVR but Westwards connections don't work.

I saw somewhere that they starting to get delivered to them in the third quarter of 2013.

How would connections to it work using ba avios?

Alaska. Nice red eye from YVR to JFK. Might have to be on a separate ticket depending on how knowledgable the BA rep is (illegal to route via CA on US to US ticket)

What do you gain by booking on one ticket?

Nothing really. Saves u from arguing w stupid reps about checking luggage through. Should also save u from printing a BP in YVR if u can't check in online for some reason.

Depemds how much your money/miles are worth. I've slept on UA but it's annoying and CX is definitely a nice nights sleep.

What i was asking was, if it is worth it to spend 12.5k united to get to YVR, and 37.5k ba to get to JFK?

You could do 4500 BA on Alaska. But you will need to call BA since Alaska cant be booked online.

NorCal to YVR is 800 miles so 1) it would be 7,500 ba, and 2) they don't fly from SFO to YVR.
