Infinitely so. Just make sure it's the new plane (2 cabin config).

If anyone is heading out from NYC to LAX for sukkos, united is operating the brand new 787-9 on one of their monday flights out of EWR to LAX.

Flew UA on the way here and was nice.

I know the UA seat is better, was just asking is it worth it to try.

But, I'm taking the red eye and traveling with an infant, so we'll stick to UA.
really UA J is better than AA F?

Doesn't seem like it, the 787 is doing a few domestic trial runs, looks like the plane continues on to DEN from LAX.

The J seat is very, very similar to that on their P.S. service; I'm not sure this is something to get all worked up about.

Not particularly... the large majority of 787-8s (the ones which have been delivered) do not offer F cabins :)

Though I think EY and BA will be offering F in the 787-9s.

Good point,

On 2nd thought I think i'd rather the smaller quieter cabin of the P.S. service

I haven't yet flown AA F on the A321T, but I've flown the P.S. service a few times now, and each time has been excellent.

I've done AA and united in business and they were very similar experiences.
The 2 biggest differences is on AA you get kosher meals and on UA you can get a bassinet.

I have not done AA 1st as it does not work for families, but it seems very similar to business except for more privacy.

UA also has kosher meals in PS business.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I stand corrected.
Last time I was not able to add it and when I called them I was told that it was
discontinued but I was able to add it successfully now.
