AA visa now covers CDW in israel?

i recieved today from my AA visa from the curent promo, in which the terms exclude Israel, received a letter from citi regarding "changes in benefits" effective 10/15 which mentions "worldwide car rental coverage" and doesn't mention exception countries.
is it possible that the CDW on this card has been sold off to a new company which doesn't do the standard "Ireland, Israel" exclusion?

I called when I got that mailer and they told me it still excludes Israel from coverage.

Even if I was misinformed (entirely possible) you'll need it in writing that Israel is included in coverage to get an Israeli rental agency to believe it and allow you to waive CDW.

I have a swiss amex platinum and it covers cdw worldwide. By every rental in israel they tell me amex does not cover, but after i tell them the swiss one does, they let me. Never had to show proof. I rented from eldan and avis sukkes
