After having this phone for 2.5 weeks, i'm ready to start posting some features I like and dislike. Here is one that I just discovered this morning-in settings, there is an option under device called one handed operation. If turned on, at any point you could swipe the screen from right-left-right and the entire screen becomes smaller in the bottom right corner. You could adjust how small it gets. It even shows the 3 soft buttons and 2 volume buttons on the bottom so that u don't have to stretch your fingers to reach those buttons either.
I'll post more when I have time.

I also like this feature. Issue is it goes back when u shut off the screen.

I just got my S5, I want to transfer all apps, messages, files  and info from my S3. How do I do that?
Bit late but I figured out that if you sign into Google right away on first power up or asks if you want to get your apps and will do that. If you're in the store and they skip that to finish up and your sign in later than you have to manually download all the apps

I'm finding it a bit laggy at times. Droid life and Android Central both did as well. I mean 2 seconds to load up the task manager when pushing the button?
I also play real racing 3 and i find it to stutter and lash occasionally. If not for the wide variety of cars the wireless charging and waterproofing and SD card (and that I lost my s3) I would definitely have at least waited for the g3 specs...

The battery is the best thing about the phone for me as well. For that itself it was worth to upgrade from the s3. I'm still contemplating if I need to buy an extra battery like I always had to in the past.

When using it the same way I used to use the s3: The s3 I needed to change the battery by 4:00 PM but with the s5, it lasts at least till 10:00 PM.  It also charges much much quicker than the s3. So if you just give the s5 just a little charge in middle of the day, like in the car, then you're good to go till you go to sleep! Also, the s5 has an ultra power savings mode that you can put on if you're running low on battery, which makes the screen black and white, and stops all non necessary applications. Ultra PS mode is supposed to last very very long on sleep. So that's a nice thing to have in case of emergency as well.

Nice to hear. I'm probably going to get it as I'm due for an upgrade, but what's keeping me back are the consistent rumors of the prime version coming in a month or so. My s3 is still doing a perfect job and honestly I don't need a new phone. The s3 is that good.

Prime will probably be quite expensive. I'd wait to see what the g3 is like as the g2 was better in almost every way than the s4

There is a major issue with Sprint on the s5. Because of the their new and upcoming "Spark" LTE network which is supposed to be ridiculously high data speed, their are issues with the phone not switching from 3g to LTE automatically unless you toggle the airplane mode. Plus at times you can just loss data momentarily even with good cell  service. Sprint is supposedly working on fixing the towers and upgrading them but until then just be aware that the s5 is a spark phone and you will have these issues.

It's not the same LTE you had on other Samsung Sprint phones. That's why it's inconsistent. But next time your in Manhattan and don't have LTE, try putting on and shutting off airplane mode from settings and see if that will activate LTE.
