Or check if sync is on.
You don't get notifications when sync is turned off.

They just sent a new update to Sprint.
Huge improvement.

Has anyone had any issues with text messages disappearing? All of the sudden, the text application shows no text conversations. If I reset the phone, they reappear.
I am using the stock message app.

Google, you can backup unlimited photos to Google Photos (photos.google.com) and your contacts can be backed up to your Google Account (probably already is)

In the lakewood thread there is a guy that does it. It's in the wiki. I used him once and he was good. Not cheap tho.

If you don't mind tinkering on your own check out this step-by-step guide, if only your glass is cracked and not the LCD screen (IOW your touchscreen still works) you can get a new one with tools to install it on Amazon (i.e. here). But beware, you may seriously mess up your phone, I've never done it to a Samsung Galaxy device so I can't vouch for it.

General rule when a phone gets submerged in water: shut it off immediately (if it's still on), open it up, take out the battery, and either let it air dry or put it in a bag of rice.

Turning it on while there's moisture inside will likely short out some connectors and it will never work properly again.

ok i turned it on and it basically works besides a couple of things. it constantly "presses" the volume up button which is annoying. it also does a couple of other weird stuff. but also the memory card slot is broken but that was due to rice pushing one of the silver plates out of shape. is there a way to replace just the memory card slot for cheap, i might also have to change the sim card slot seeing as it is connected

First thing first, backup all your data as your phone can die on you any given moment.

I agree with Centro. Your phone is shot and it's time to back up your stuff and look into buying a new one. Don't bother putting in any more effort into trying to fix it.
