Airline Status Questions

I don't fly too much on paid revenue tickets but I will hit Silver this year G-d willing.   

Can anyone give me any good reasons why to choose one over the others out of the following:

Delta
Air France
Alaska


I know Alaska has more uses than the others but I accrue DL and AF easily compared to AS so keep that in mind.
And unlike most of you guys out there I actually use my DL miles often and get good use out of them.   So I guess the question really boils down to the status benefits themselves (and I'm aware there are few. )

I would think Delta, especially if you get good use out of their points.

Their network is large and if you book strategically, you might stand a slight chance of getting an upgrade.
