About a week ago I booked a hotel room via booking.com for the the Hilton Garden Inn in Denver for $12 a night which went through along with a booking number. Today, I got an email that it was a mistake and they are offering me a night for $100 which is discounted. Any suggestions on what I can say to negotiate with them? What I really want is a night in the New York metro area at that rate or close to it. They do say in their Terms and Conditions that obvious mistakes or misprints are not binding.
Any suggestions or just forget about it?
