Random SPG nights and flights question

Hey guys,
Gut voch,
I was wondering why I never see offers to split a nights and flights promo, with one person taking the nights and the other the flights.  It seems that some people only use SPG for hotel stays and others mainly for flying, so I figure that it should follow that the two would try and get a little more out of their points...
Am I missing something?

Typically I try to use cash and points at category 3/4 properties.
But the next time I need 5 nights at a category 3/4 that doesn't have C&P it would definitely make sense to try to work something out.
