Last Minute Travel Agency needed

I am looking to find a good last minute travel agent in the NYC or LA area. And by "last minute" I mean booking 24 hours notice or less going to destinations around the world. I am looking to make some trips in the coming year but know that I wont have a lot of notice as to when I can go, so this VERY last minute option will work best for me. Any help you have would be great.

A travel agent who specializes in these tickets has three possible advantages that I can think of:

1. They can book close to (or on) the travel date.
2. They can find availablity when there's none online.
3. They would have cheaper rates than last minute tickets elsewhere.

Or some combination thereof.

Ah, I misread the question, thanks. I think another benefit of local is that they may be more familiar with routes originating in that city.
