I just started reading this book - Indistractable - https://www.amazon.com/dp/194883653X?tag=cl03f-20One of the premises the author establishes is that tech is not the cause of distraction, though it may exacerbate it. However if a distracted person gets rid of tech they will still find ways to distract themselves, and we need to work on removing the root cause of our distraction. This concept rang true with my personal experience. If the book helps reduce distractions it’s worth its weight in gold.
This. Same as my personal experience.
Do either of you have experience about whether it helps reduce distraction
If what reduces distraction - a phone?
The book
Will try to remember to report back once I finish it
