This is what my Dr. Sent me when I asked what my "PD" was.

zenni optical tells you how to measure your PD yourself. Did it, ordered glassed, they were great. Next time I was at my eye doc, I asked him what my PD is, and he said exactly what I had measured. Then I told him about where I got my glasses, and he said he'd go check it out.

I have my PD and all other info. I used Zenni twice but the glasses were so uncomfortable.

I ordered a pair in May 2012 with a FREE PROMO and am still wearing it daily and am very happy with it.
My total was $52.80 as I chose a thinner lens (+$24.95) and Coating (+17.95), you're wearing them every day, so its worth spending the extra few dollars on these options.
Without the add-ons it would have been $9.90 shipped!

I would bet half my lunch that the "doctors" who refused to give PD/other info were optometrists (i.e. glasses are their livelihood). The physicians who were happy to give it or were interested in hearing about the online stores are ophthalmologists.

unless you have a unsuccessful ophthalmologists who took a job in a eyewear store and was instructed not to give it out. so whats for lunch?

to all those who think you need to see a doc for a pd, i would say you are better off having a carpenter check it, all you need to do is measure if you need one zenni will send you for free. with a bit of patients (no pun intended) you can do a more accurate than the doc. as far as buying online i have done more than 50 pairs, the only ones that were done wrong were the ones i typed the wrong rx. and zenni gives you a full refund evan without reason within 30 days. glasses are from the highest marked up products out there , when you buy in a bm you are way overpaying

It would be genius if the ones who made this site used it to get people's credit card info, for those who (without thinking) would use a credit card to measure their PD...

Oh yea! That's totally true!! Someone who uses their ink cards to measure PD, should write a note saying to only use at business stores for the 5 points p/$
