I called Amazon a week ago for a "Status Update" and the Rep apologized that it's taking so long and gave me a $10 credit.
Received cancellation email today with another $10 credit.
Just finished chatting with them (I went with the: You sent me an email today that contradicts the email you sent me on 2/17/14) and they gave me an additional credit for the amount the knife set cost then ($12.98) to use towards the next thing I buy directly from Zmazon.
Rep said if knife set were available now from Amazon directly she would be able to honor the price. Now it's only available from 3rd party sellers.
$33.98 free Amazon money. Not quite paying $13 for a $100 knife set, but I'm happy with this outcome.
