This show is heavily edited and many times obviously so. I wouldnt be shocked if these fights happened more often and they just decided to include this one in the final cut to add some drama and hype, which it did.

My favorite was the Plate Topper. The guy comes in with a product that everyone loves, asks for $90K for 5%, gets offers of much higher evaluations from Lori and Daymond.  But he talks himself out of them and ends up having to settle for less than he originally asked from Lori.

LOL to comment 2. That was the case the first year of the show and Cuban said he would not come back if they continued the practice.

After the show, he ended up losing his deal because he kept being annoying.

yep, i remember something about this. the truth is that is much more popular now then when it was in its first year. I wish they would cut barbra and add someone fresh. another option is to always have a guest shark. that would be interesting.

having the same sharks makes it easier to pick and choose which pitches make it into which episode.

Fun fact:

I have it on good authority that a well known jewish philanthropist was invited onto the show but declined due to the organizations he's involved with

I wont give his name if thats what your asking. He was invited to be a shark. Because he is very publicly involved with certain organizations he opted not to be on national tv
