Glitch tickets storm related change

We bought some tickets during the united ewr to tlv glitch.

The flight is set for Thursday at 3pm the issue we are having is the united will not allow us to rebook the tickets even though there is a weather waiver active for the date of travel. They want us to deal with wide to which claims they will not be able to change the ticket because yq was not added and now with any change they need to charge for yq on any other ticket they issue us.

Can anyone guide us if there is a certain thing we need to say or approach it in such a way that will be advantageous.

Let me know all help is appreciated.

We are basically being redirected to Wider0e as the booking agent, and Wider0e is basically quoting us exorbitant flight change fees

If you're getting Indians it's a waste for your mouth muscle movements. Huca and wait for an American. Estara callback will usually call the TX call center former CO people. Try again until you find an American.

Just went through the process.
Spoke to supervisor basically only thing to do is go back to widero for help.

Just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone else have similar issues?

Try to change the flight online. I had the same issue on a TLV-EWR on the wideroe price mistake. United didnt want to do anything, and wideroe didnt want to budge either. I tried to change it online, and it worked.

Interesting... we ended playing HUCA with the estara call back feature and were able to get someone to change the flights so we could beat the storm and not have to wait till after shabbat to fly.

Seems like the first few agents weren't in the right mood.

The agent that initiated the process for me I got on the phone with her and I said listen lady, I got a problem I need to change my dates. The last 14 reps I spoke to didn't change my tickets because I bough tickets during a glitch and wasn't charged YQ on my tickets. So leading off with that she said, listen I don't care where or how much you bough the tickets for, I am going to make arrangements to make sure you fly out, do you want to be split up from the party of four, I said yep split us up if need be, 2 on one flight 2 on the other. She did just that.

The only issue is that our bumped flights for today might be oversold and they might end up bumping us too?
