Tell these weather forecasters to make up their mind. As of now I know that we're having 1-24 inches, depending on the hour.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Reminds me of the joke:

Anyone can be a meteorologist, just say the same thing every day.

"Today will be a nice day, weather between 0 and 110, chance of rain or snow, with some wind, perhaps."

To be fair, NWS forecasts are split into zones. Lakewood is at the corner of 4 zones. Both Monmouth and Ocean county are split between coastal and non coastal. We are also often right at the border of the rain/snow split. This makes snow levels very difficult to forecast for Lakewood.

Very interesting, thanks!

No different than any other major snowstorm.

Many towns and counties have official snowfall amounts which snow plow companies use to bill customers.

Remember this?

https://www.dansdeals.com/shopping-deals/amazon/earthwise-10-wide-9-amp-electric-snow-thrower-28-32-shipped-amazon-71-price-drop/

After 2+ years of sitting unused finally I took it out of the garage and plan on using it for the first time tomorrow.

Just saying whoever the designer is should have made it that it can be freestanding. And it's not very light. We'll see how well it works tomorrow.

BH, my DYI sidewalk snow melt system seems to be working well. I'm glad I read up about it in advance. Seems like one of the keys to success is proper insulation underneath.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Can you do a write up on that?

It's ok. You have to plan your route beforehand and you have to do it not facing the wind otherwise it blows back on you.

The safety trigger is painful to hold after a few minutes.

You have to use it gently you can't just plow through the snow.

Overall I'd say 3/5

That's still good, considering you paid for it 1/4

"“That’s blinding snow,” Hizzoner said, adding, that he is “fearful” of the situation getting “worse.”"

I always wonder if these gentlemen ever visited not Saskatchewan but perhaps Montreal or some other snowier place in their lives.

Not comparable to the wet slop in NYC/NJ though
