I have yet to see a single poster in this thread consider the possibility that bringing a judaic studies teacher(s) will require the community to come up with $ for said teacher (and family) to survive on

Why is that limited to Judaic studies. Unless you're suggesting sending kids to public school and having Judaic studies privately in the afternoon. Either way, the teachers will get paid the same way they get paid in US48... We're not all moving to Hawaii and going to be sitting on the beach all day.

That's probably even more difficult than making the move and finding long-term housing and employment.  Not many people can just take a month off from life.
