They say a story that the Chofetz Chaim once asked someone how things were going. The man replied, "Could be better..." To which the Chofetz Chaim responded, "No, they couldn't be, because then they would be. What Hashem does IS the best!"

The question just is whether we understand at this time in history why things are good.
