Swiss media reports, pilot went out of cockpit, co pilot closed door. He refused to open and threatened to crash if they try getting in. He then refused to land, until asylum is granted. Only once he was low on fuel he landed at gva after circling for a while. He escaped from window and got arrested
I don't understand why he had to hijack plane. He could have requested asylum in Italy or take a train to swiss border and request there. Why the major crime?
Thought he would get a guarantee while in the air?
Once he landed he had no leverage.
