Adding a leg to Continental award flight
« on: October 27, 2010, 07:31:17 PM »
I currently have booked Manchester - Orlando on Virgin Atlantic booked using onepass.

The question is, i found a flight from Orlando to NYC the next day, can I call continental and have them add that on to my itinerary for the same mileage?

 when are you flying?

as what you are now wanting to do is change your Destination from MCO to PHL on your OutBound to PHL as your Desination but with a stop @ MCO. Normally a stop is allowed on INTL tkts, but it also depends when you are flying to determine if it can be done for free

Since you are on Virgin anyway it cant be done Online just call up CO and ask them what your options are, also know what a flight MCO-PHL will run you if you purchase it separately a sno sense paying CO anythig more then what SouthWest for eg will charge you

I called and they let me add it for a $50 change fee.

I was about to purchase a separate flight, but now i got an almost free one in first class. :-)

only $50 not bad and no way can you get a 1 way for that money.

They charged because as I posted up thread you changed your Destination from MCO to NYC and now MCO instead of being considered the Destination city is a Stop Over city. if its on CO hopefully you chose a flight where CO is using the 752 instead of the 737, as Biz is BF OK its a short flight but the 752 is 1000% better seat wise and it has AVOD

Even if he didn't that would be a free change.
