I just went back to it and realized it's only for me. It's using my name and my information for everything and it has an invitation code. There's a number to call if you have a problem with it. Maybe if you call?? BTW, is it worth the $85? Here's the number 1-800-914-2961

I just applied. The code was specific to my name. Did anyone else get this offer? They said they'll have to get back to me. I figured the $85 is less than getting the 80,000 plus the free night.

pretty sure the ritz is a tier 2 not a cat. . The introductory free night is good for a cat. 1-4 and the anniversary free night is good for a cat. 1-5. I dont think any of thgem work for a ritz. cmiiw

I think the Ritz has it's own categories. Meaning a cat 3 Ritz and a cat 3 Marriott aren't the same.

Got this after I SM'ed.
Thank you for contacting us about the Chase Marriott
Rewards Premier account ending in ----.

Our records show that the application you submitted offers
50,000 enrollment bonus points if you exceed a spend
threshold of $1,000 within the first 3 months of opening
your account. After qualifying, please allow 6 to 8 weeks
for the bonus points to post to your Marriott Rewards
 account.

I understand that you have since received another
enrollment offer for 80,000 rewards points if you exceed a
spend threshold of $3,000. As a gesture of our
commitment to you, once you have spent the required
$3,000, within 3 months of opening your account, we will
honor the offer and issue an additional 30,000 points to
the account. Simply contact us back after you have
qualified and we will be happy to process your request at
 that time.

Please keep in mind that all enrollment incentives are
reserved for new Marriott Rewards credit card members
only. This means we reserve the right to withhold adding
any enrollment points if you have previously received them
on the same product on a previous date.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
 Secure Message Center.

 Thank you,

 Lisa Schirmer
 Customer Service Specialist

Better than what I expected! I didn't say I received it, just that my friend told me about it. Also, doesn't seem like they're charging me an annual fee, even though the offer I told them about was with an AF. ;D ;D 8) 8)
