The TLV desk's policy is to insist there's no problem. This way people don't get mad.
They think people enjoy more sitting in the airport for 5 hours?

They think it's better than a stampede if they would admit there's a problem

Supposedly the Rebbe is headed back to NYC tonight,  I'd guess he's flying back on UA91,  incoming Ua90 has a delayed arrival time of 930ish, 5 hours and 15 minutes late. The UA desk in tlv is insisting that the flight will departing on time.  Is it possible to get the plane ready within an hour and half?? I don't think so.....

The morning flight which leaves everyday at 1120am is turned around in 1:50 everyday as it arrives in tlv at 920am..the tlv outbound is thus delayed at times as even 30 min can make a difference.

When you need to connect in ewr to lax it can cause a missed connection if it's only 1.5 hours...that why I often try and make sure my connecting flight is the 715pm as I then have a shot at the final 815pm to lax.

Sometimes you miss it but then you get free hotel and comp ($350 per pax) and flight out in am first thing...

Update: im quite surprised, but ua90 landed at 9:35pm and 91 took off on time at 11:10pm. Must have been in the rebbe's zchus

deep stuff peoples.

I dont get Rebbe's honestly, they will travel to europe etc right and life, visit kevarim etc.. but rarely go to chevron, the belzer rebbe maybe once in 15 years, the satmarer's i dont recall, skver i remember etc

Any ways, theres a huge problem with the '67 logic. Firstly the lubavitcher rebbe always maintained "pamayim lo takum tzarah" hence that the generation of the holocaust was sheltered

Any ways, why would the sitra achara engineer the 6 day war victory ? more people became frum off it than went fryak in a tziyonit tzimus.

Pashut bottom line: zionist is essentially empty shell, their core ideology is long gone. But that may be true for satmar too

As opposed to tzfas and teverya ? maybe for stays bc chevron was historically never developed. But how do you go to kivrei tzadikim but shun the avot and imahot ? it can never be stated that the chevron community was zionist, maybe post '67 yes but the community is borderline chareidi.. take Shmuel "Zangy" Meidad, his family descends from prominent Vishitz Chasidim.

Chevron was, prior to 1929 generally sephardic, many stemming from spanish refugee's and chasidic, even with slabodka etc there was never much in terms of zionism besides Don Yoel Slonim HY'D

Any ways, as both mearat hamachpela till the 7th step and the kotel were available to jews prior to 1947, I dont get Rav Yoel's concept, since basically it wasent a zionist achievement.

No need to focus on oldie fuddy duddies like the avos and imahos.
Nowadays, we have places like Amuka, which has been a holy place ever since they wanted tourist dollars a few decades ago.

What an absurd statement. What if one brother wants to donate shared funds to Iran?

There are definitely scenarios where fighting is right.

Hardly a comparison, lets see, Baruch Nachshon is anti zionist ;)

Out of curiosity, what was it that caused the break-up? S/t as serious and impactful as that?
