their site was updated dec 2014, but it still says, "תייר...רשאים לנהוג בארץ עם רישיון נהיגה זר בתוקף, במשך שנה מיום כניסתם לארץ"

its time to take my car for the yearly 'test'...can a chutznik print out the paper you need from the new misrad rishui kiosks they've put up around town?

apparently you punch in the 'fake' tz #, pay the fee and its prints out the paper that says you paid and you bring it to test location. once you pass, they give you another paper that says you passed.

You don't need a paper saying you paid anymore, if you paid it's in the system and they see it at the test location (just did a test last week). They'll send you a new one in the mail that says you paid and past. All you need to bring is the one they sent you in the mail.
