Annual Category Change Announcement 2014
Our hotel Category adjustments for 2014 will soon be in effect, and we would like to provide you with an advance look at the preliminary list of changes. Please note that we are not adding new categories or changing category pricing.

Just over 20% of hotels are changing category, of these 56% are moving down and 44% are moving up. We want to make sure you’re able to maximize your Starpoints®, so please review the information to decide if it makes sense to redeem before or after the changes take place starting March 4, 2014. Please note that Category changes are always subject to change, and while we make every attempt to provide you the latest, most accurate information, there may be adjustments necessary before or after the March 4, 2014 date.

- Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach - Going from 4 > 5. After my past trip there, I won't waste the points again.
- Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa - Going from 5 > 6.
- The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali - Going from 5 > 6.

Sheraton Garden Grove is moving up from 2-3. Good thing I just booked 3 rooms for 5 nights each last week.

I'm here now and its actually pretty nice. Gold got me into a Junior Suite. I could have gotten a nicer suite but I needed the 2 beds.
I'm pretty sure about 10% of DD followers are currently staying here as well

Maybe they took my advice and fired the stupid and dumb managers and cleaned up the place. I'm wondering if they fixed the bathroom in the room I stayed in yet. Care to ask?

For what it's worth, I HUCA'd with SPG and spoke with a supervisor last night who booked me 4 nights in the St. Regis Rome under the old rates (20K as opposed to 30K). Reservation confirmed.

I also booked 4nights with a gold
They offered me a upgrade to executive
The hotel is nicer then before
Im actualy in the hotel now
