Re: Flying Blue 50% off July/August Promo

there is availability online, but i don't think the promo includes delta.  only klm and af.   also the taxes aren't "a couple hundred dollars" they're about 700 dollars on a roundtrip.   at 25k for coach af during the promo + $700, or 50k for coach on dl + $700 you're not really saving too much, if anything.    at that price transfer you're points to ba with the %50 bonus, and you can fly rt from the states for 50k (34k amex) with about $500 in taxes, and much better availability.

BA is 65k/130k to TLV. So 25k/50k even with the couple hundred dollar extra charge is still a better deal.

A reliable blogger recently posted about this deal and said that Amex MR > Flying Blue transfers are instant.

They're always offering this.
It's nearly impossible to get TLV at the promo rates.  I don't think you can get TLV online and good luck a phone rep to give you an online promo price for TLV even if it is a website bug.
Also massive fuel surcharges.

Those @#&µ Flying poops don't book promo awards over the telephone. I told them that from A-B and B-C is available on promo, but the  site when giving in A-C cannot figure it out on its own. They don't care.

Being a Plat does NOT help.

Just checked last night still around. It's only on the airfrance site (not delta site) and the $78 tax without fuel surcharge is only on DL flights

Or on AF OW flights from TLV, IIRC.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

The promo rates usually only apply to KLM or AF, and with them there are hefty fuel surcharges.

Just click next, until it asks for a cc, so you know if its final.

I've had already the taxes jumping up on the last screen...
