No worries there, that's what PayPal is for.
I was talking about their policy for "price mistakes".
HP issued a $200 voucher when they messed up on this price point a couple years back, Walmart only issued a $10 voucher by their big one.
Adorama had a few big mistakes this past summer and didn't do anything.

Everybody is always ready for a cancellation as if nothing happened, but "compensation" is a nice gesture from the companies side too.

And they compensate because it hits the news and is good PR this guy compensates 10 bucks a pop and he probably goes out of business

I'm in for 1! I've always wanted a metal detector to search the beaches of Southern California.
I guess that fits in well for a regular faithful follower of Dans Deals....always looking for the hidden nugget!

I see 'em out there all the time during the summer doing it without being hassled. It's also easy to dig in the sand and (like the Boy Scout environmental motto) "leaves no trace" since the sand fills right back in.

I'm in the middle of ordering right now. Is it better to go straight through Amex for their warranty protection or better through Paypal in case this is shady?
Does anyone have experience with Amex making good on warranty through Paypal? Amex CS said she "thought it should be ok."
I HUCAed and she said warranties/protections hold in linked Paypal account.
