I usually just chat with them to get a label. This past time they had to transfer me to a supervisor to do it though.

It also seems they stopped offering UPS Store as a free option.

I purchased an Amazon Basics for $17.
Upon clicking return/exchange item they offered me the opportunity to exchange for a few Amazon products some which sell for $85.
It doesn’t say anywhere that I will be charged the difference. Sounds right?

It seems like they will charge you the difference, yet another smart addition by Amazon.

giving the wrong reasons may eventually flag your account... thanks to amazon not offering a label unless you give the "wrong reasons" sellers get their metrics messed up..

Update: if you do this, make sure you get your full refund. I just had to chat again about it because they deducted the $5.99, ended up getting a promotion credit for it.

sometimes if you pick a different reason why you are returning it they will offer free ups returns.
