So, Amazon is coming out with a social media platform....

Amazon Spark

https://www.amazon.com/b?node=16907772011

Apparently, Amazon has been quietly testing Amazon Spark in beta for a few months before July 18ths launch to consumers in the U.S.

c/p: in two separate studies and discovered that 61% of the items surveyed were being given "bogus prices" to create discounts that didn't really exist.
I saw right then on Prime Day i checked on items that i have purchased and noticed the prices were raised so it looks like a real discount, what a Prime Day ripoff they created.

You be surprised plenty don't and just rely that Amazon has a huge sale the screen shows he's saving 30% today, and they just trust Amazon

The vast majority and certainly those that jump on these "deals" don't even know ccc exists let alone what it is.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

They don't even need to use CCC they can add the keepa extension which shows a graph on the AMZ page. HT: @yuneeq

Reminds me to share this interesting reddit comment (he actually has a few there) from the creator of PriceZombie (like Keepa and CCC, but shut down).
https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/6pgkd9/amazon_jacked_up_prime_day_prices_misleading/dkpf11w/

Explains why Keepa has better data than CCC

Looks like CCC is missing a lot of data that Keepa has.

CCC shows $699 but with a serrated line because it went OOS a few weeks ago, it was actually selling for higher through 3p sellers. Keepa reflects this better. Same for the Acer screen, Keepa shows it dropped from $112 a few days ago, CCC is missing that and the lightning deal completely.

When buying Amazon warehouse deals, is it ever really used? or just damaged? Would a cooking device really have been used?

I bought a cooking device that wasn't a warehouse deal, and it looked used. FWIW.

That wasn't what I meant. My account has been extended 12 times, a full year. The most recent time which would have been the thirteenth it couldn't be extended.

@cholent they just told me that they extended it one month in the past and the system doesn't let them do a second month. This is for a missing item in the box I ordered, which they're going to send out new item and I have to send back original one sent to me..
Based on what you wrote above is there a change of policy or poor arguing on my end?

Hmm, I don't know. I never really argued at all. I always just pleasantly suggested to them that in light of (fill in the blank) perhaps they would like to offer me an extra month of prime as a good will gesture

New prime accounts are limited to the amount of extensions they can receive. Old grandfathered prime accounts can receive unlimited extensions.

They said they're adding $5 promotional credit. I suggested for them to extend prime and the rep said she couldn't as stated above. Asked for a supervisor and she offered another $5 pc or 1 month extension. I took the one month extension :)

I don't have any more info on this.

I meant old as in the old Prime, 'household', system.

Does this mean that Prime members won't need minimum $25 for free shipping (for this particular item)?

ETA: Apparently this has a minimum of $25 for shipping even for Prime members.

Your Edit is correct. Why not purchase this with a pantry item to get over that $25 minimum (then cancel the pantry item]
