I placed an order Sunday Jan 7 - chose Two-Day Prime shipping - the checkout page said "Guaranteed Delivery Date: Wednesday, January 10, 2018". I didn't screen-shot it bec I didn't really think there was going to be a problem. This morning I got a notice that it shipped and would be delivered on Thursday January 11. I really needed it by Wednesday. I'm an Amazon Prime member pretty much since the beginning - but I don't remember something like this. Anything I can do?

from what i know any time time a item delivery date changes from original email of you call them or chat with them they will either give a extra month prime for free or a $5/10 courtesy credit. key to use when chatting or calling is the word "compensation"

Figured. Well, if I have to run out and buy it locally the compensation will pay for "pain and suffering".

The weather really messed things up. Wipes that were supposed to be delivered Friday are still sitting at a carrier facility.

If I got an Amazon prime student membership and didn't use it at all. Can I cancel it and still be eligible to sign up again as a student at a later time?

Check your order history as that's the price your going to be paying.

Subscription page means nothing.

If he paid $10 for subscription of diapers on the 1st delivery, he very well may pay $14 for the 2nd which auto ships unless he cancels

If I buy a gift of prime for $99 plus tax totaling around $107.25
Will the one who uses the gift get $107.25 to use and pay towards the tax? Or only $99 and I the buyer of the gift prime will pay tax on the gift?

As I would be better of buying it using a different billing address which Is not charged tax and get it for $99 exactly?

That's correct I was referring to the first order only. ( first subscription.)

Is it bad to ask to extend my prime every time an order comes later than expected or is that in the system and you just need to ask them for it?

Its not bad. Many times they offer it on their own. Either they’ll say yes or no.

To answer my own question on the prime gift page where you add it to cart it says if you already have prime you will get the full value plus taxes added to your account via gc.
