deal for a sprint broadband card??

i heard about a deal for a sprint broadband card where you pay a 1 time fee of  like $150 and your good to go forever?? some brooklyn guys were doing it!!

looking for more info, plz

It's a scam and not guaranteed. I don't know if this is still available, but even if it is I would recommend against it. With Sprint's new policies, the plan won't stay around for long and you are risking getting charged retroactively for all those months of free service.

Stop scare mongering. The worse they will do is cancel your plan which isn't a big deal considering that you dont lose a phone number.
They won't and can not charge you retroactively.

If they cancel your account you lost your number (though that doesn't apply to the data card). Two of my friends were hit with hundreds of dollars in retroactive charges for playing shtick with Sprint.

btw sprint (used to) let you open an account w/o a social sec number & pay a 6 month depost...
then all you risk is the deposit
