How many people you know who have been to both MLE and BOB and now are "ready" to experience "other" destinations?  ::)
Not even 1. :)
But, why once you've experienced an OWB once, why not just get to an easier destination before the next "big" trip?

Easier? Who said its easier?

Both MRU and SEZ are harder to get to than MLE.

Oh, I thought they were. Okay gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! Still going to be HI next for me. For the others, maybe one day...

Mistake, IMO.

As an American, Hawaii will always be there. And it's also easier to schlep kids on an 11 hour non-stop flight (to HNL) then it is a 14 hour to a connection to a 4-6 hour flight (to MLE/MRU/SEZ).

Strike now while you have the chance.

I told the idea to my wife tonight about basically flying for a day straight. She kinda rolled her eyes and didn't think it would be worth it. That's kinda why I was curious about the other places (again, because I thought they were easier to get to). I hear your point about kids and HI, but I can't imagine going with kids is anything close to going alone. Nonetheless, if something more exotic was available and didn't require a 24 hour flight route, I would probably go for that instead, but after our conversation, I'm not sure such a place exists -- which is why Hawaii will likely be the most "exotic" place we get to.

Put your wife in EY F and see if she's still rolling her eyes.

Lol

Had to pick either EY or EK, and went the one we enjoyed slightly more.

Agree and disagree.

It's true that you're more likely to bring kids to HI.
But it's also true that HI with kids can't possibly compare to HI without kids.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Her response to that was "I'm not flying an Arab airline". (Not for safety, but for supporting them.)

I think I'll just keep saving up miles and then when the time comes, see where I can find availability.
