I'm sure on a day to day basis we all screw up and learn a lesson from it. For instance last night I opened a 400 degree oven that was on convection bake with my face to close and had ice on my burned eyes until 4:00 am. So my advice would be, don't put your face to close to an oven when you open it. In this thread feel free to put up whatever advice you feel people should get to learn, the easy way ;).
