Modells - Herald Square Closing, and selling items on clearance. Not everything is on clearance, but many items are marked $5, $10 and $15.

When did the sale start?  Are sneakers on sale?  Any significant markdowns yet?

Not sure when the sale started. Someone in the store mentioned that they are closing August 9th. The basic items shorts, athletic apparel, shirts etc..are marked down. Not sure what you consider significant.

Just curious, was there a sign in the store that they're closing ? I did a quick google search & the only result was this thread.
