A toein is much cheaper than a lawyer and will get you much further in Bais Din than a lawyer. Bais Din is generally cheaper than court. A good toein will recommend a good lawyer. You WILL need money not miles to pay these people. If you get good advice (which you will need to pay for) up front you will save yourself A LOT of money in the long run.

I think the consensus is.

1. Try to get her to go to a therapist with you.

if she won't than for sure

2. Get a lawyer that knows about Jewish divorces because

3. Look into a beis din option.

(IMHO you should talk to a lawyer regardless.)
