+1Are they printing a Tanya there?
Looks like yes Tanya were printed, looks like everyone had a fun time today LOL
let's get a couple things straight. some of us were created with something called sechel, and we use this gift to ask questions. including, but not limited to, why a bracha was made if there wasn't enough people. and, yes, it also seems like it might have been a bracha l'vatala and that can be asked too. (those that were able to follow the thread got the answer to these questions; a brilliant concept, learning through questions and answers.) if you don't know anything about brachos feel free not to join the discussion. if you are overly sensitive and can't bear to see questions which are related to a "rabbi who paskened" on topics a bit over your head, feel free to move on to a different thread. overall, you sound like a brainwashed two year old, and you'd probably do yourself a favor just keeping it quiet at this point.
So you were more comfortable with the theory that he did something that makes no sense than assuming he had wrong information about how many people were standing there?
I was also there today and honestly I don't have a CLUE how many ppl were there. With all the dust in the air and not a single helicopter in the sky and everyone spread out over such a large area I can't see how ANYONE, even a news station, could give an accurate number.I guess that explains why the range is between 100K and 800K. Also, the secular media tends to give lower numbers than the religious media for this kind of thing (R' Ovadia's levaya....).Could have been over 600K, could have been under. Who knows?
I am trying to figure out what streets this is.
A fraction of the crowd. Police didn't let photograph by helicopter. It spanned over a square mile of streets.
Cant wait till american one
Hopefully there will be hat racks @ the American version, unlike the Israeli version where hats were hanged on banner wood poles held by hand.
Mods can we please move this thread to the 'just shmooze' board. Thanx
