T-Mobile just spent nearly $8 billion to finally put its network on par with Verizon and AT&T

(It will take years though)

Not good news. Once they're on par they'll stop innovating.

I can really use some advice here, I'll try to keep the info short and to the point.
Back in may I ordered an s8 online and (thought) I had chose expedited shipping, but on the confirmation page it said ground shipping. I called t-mobileand they said they'll cancel the original order and reorder with expedited shipping. Apparently they never cancelled the original order and I recieved 2 phones. I called again amd was told that they can see the order was cancelled and not sure why they sent the 2nd phone and I should return it.
Thinking that I was being nice by not insisting that they pick up the phone,  I took my time returning it, and finally made it to a store in early August.
Currently, I noticed that I was still being billed for the phone. I called today to inquire about it and was told that they never recieved the phone, and I need to provide proof that I returned it to the store.
The rep also told me that she sees no record of them telling mw they would cancel my original order and I'm way outside of the return policy.
She also told me that my phoneis currently active on a phone number thats not in my account, and since its not in my account they cant share that information with me.
I tried escalating to no avail.
Any suggestions on what my next step should be?  Anyone have a contact at t-mobile?
Also, is there a way to track a phone with just the imei# even if it was never connected to any of my accounts?
Tia for any help.

The way to go about is call and make sure the first rep speaks ENGLISH?! If you are on tne phone for more that a half hour, it's not a good sign.

Call again explain that you were on the phone already for 2 hours etc.

Don't look for a supervisor I never found that helping with them. The first rep can do it all. I happen to have more successful times with regular reps.

I had an issue where they gave me a $3,000 Crédit for a mistake I made. You need to get there right rep.

I tried that route with these reps, got me nowhere. She even insinuated that I was lying.

That is the biggest mistake when talking to a rep.

FYI I was on the other side of the line for about 1 year. I know what it's like

Request for advice:)
TL,DR: T-Mobile is saying my hotspot data is used up, but I have barely used it at all . What should I do?

I'm on a T-Mobile one plus business plan that includes 10GB of high-speed mobile hotspot per month. I only use it for my laptop when I don't have WiFi around.
The past two months, very early on in the billing cycle, I've received a warning that my data is at 80% and shortly afterwards that it is all used up. This is all while I haven't been using it. (Last cycle this occurred on Erev YK!) My phone says my Mobile hotspot has used up just 4.0 GB.
I called and the rep who told me 'you must have used it, so download the TMobile app and check the usage there." I did, and have just been watching the mobile hotspot usage go up and up even when the hotspot is off! (Last night I "used" 2 GB while I was lying in bed going to sleep.)

Any advice as to what the cause may be and/or what to do?

TIA.

Into the account associated with this phone number? Possibly, I would have no idea.
Regardless how and why would they do it if the SIM card is in my phone?
