Ty.

Does anyone have experience with this? I just want to make sure it would work before I try it, although theoretically it would then be just as good as a regular wall (but i might only be able to do one side of the door so it would only be one layer of sheetrock as opposed to a wall which has two layers).
It would cost more than the other eitzos but changing the door to a solid wood door would do much more.
Either way don't go with soundboard if anything of that nature the are better products out there. You can likely call one of these companies and ask them what they would suggest. One such product I've heard a lot about but haven't yet tried personally is Quietrock sheet rock which is sold in Lowes for about $53 for 1/2 inch 4 X 8 panel, it seems to work very similar to sheetrock with green glue which can be debated which one is better but in your situation it would seem pretty clear, though you have to know how well you be able to seal around it and still achieve good results

No they won't, you can't prove that sheidim exist, so in this generation we no longer we no longer have to believe in them.  ;)  :D

Yes to soundboard. We use it and it helps allot.

Do you use it to close up a doorway?

But realize before you call anyone that they each promote their own product and can't/won't advise you about their competitor's product

Yeah, but all of the honest ones will tell you to switch to a solid core door and door seals first.
