New signup bonus, 25,000 miles after first spend, 25,000 miles after $2500 spend in 90 days.
Not bad for the $75 annual fee...

Hmmm, is it worth trying for another one with Chase if I still have the first? It seems the value of BA miles is going down...

I'd rather have 30K CO for spending $1 than 50K BA for spending $2,500.
Heck I'd take the 30K CO over 50K Ba even if they both only required a $1 purchase.

•   Redeem for 1, Travel for 2 - Each and every year a cardmember spends $30,000 they will receive a flight redemption voucher, valid for two years. To use the voucher, cardmembers simply redeem BA Miles for travel. The voucher can then be used to bring a companion along with them, who will fly in the same class of service, requiring no additional miles for travel.
Whats the great news?
If its true that BA is charging fuel surcharges on AA flights I don't see any use for BA miles.
i think its worth with the Travel 2  for 1

So you should $30,000 to get a travel 2 for 1 to use for JFK-TLV for example?

You'll still pay some $1,200 in taxes on 2 tickets besides for the miles redeemed.  It comes out to a very small discount over the other option, which is just paying for a ticket, flying nonstop, and earning miles.

if u go F its will be 100k less miles and i dont have a problem with the 30k (the only problem cut be with chase closing account for to much use do to income as they did to my friend)
i used 150k for 2 to LHR in F plus 1k in taxes but an economy ticket was over $900

Yes, in F you can argue it's worthwhile, but if taxes for 1K for 2 passengers in F going to LHR I don't even want to think what they'll be all the way to TLV on BA.

Then again you could have gone in Virgin's top-notch Upper class for some 60K AMEX points and not paid any fuel surcharges.
It would've been just 120K miles for 2 passengers (less than the miles you used even with the BA 2-for-1) and much less taxes.

Personally I fail to see the fascination with the BA card.  Especially now that they're going to charge fuel surcharges on all partner flights.

Never flew it, but people say in many aspects it's better (though not in all aspects) and the Virgin Clubhouse is also supposed to be awesome.
Virgin Upper class gets free limo pickups, dropped off at an exclusive private entrance at the airport, take in a meal or massage in the clubhouse, flat-bed seating, very good FA's, etc.

Virgin Upper class gets free limo pickups,
I am not so sure there is a free limo pickup for an award ticket (based on some quick research I did a while ago), but I could be wrong.
