Tell us one cool thing you learned from today's daf, or any recent daf.
Ok, from Fridays daf, the door of the gehanim is between 2 Taitelbaums.

(one for Reb A. and one for Reb Z.L.)
Airlines sending me "We're in this together" emails.

Bruh, where were you when my suitcase weighed it 51.50 pounds?

I just started Pesachim, first perek, on Shabbos, hoping to continue a daf or so a day until yom tov.

Since we are going to a hotel and we have no Pesach cleaning, I have to do my "bodkin es hachomeitz" somehow.

When I learned those simanim, my magid shiur mentioned that for every issur, Hashem created something kosher for us to have. The k'chal is to counter basar b'chalav.
what does the k'chal (utter)have to do with melicha? k'chal is siman 90 in basar bechalav. are we confusing it with the techol (splean)on siman 74 in melicha?

By "those simanim" I was speaking very broadly of melicha, basar b'chalav, taaruvos... all those simanim I learned for semicha.

Yes, I plan on doing bedika in the hotel room, but that doesn't necessitate a month of late nights like the regular way does.  ;)

Also, no cooking, no getting the house ready for guests. It's a very different experience.

Not when I have no idea what you are talking about.

One big difference. For me to understand what you are talking about would take more than just reading a wiki.

First of all, Count. I am thrilled that you are on this thread. What Torah are you learning?

Maybe we can set up a class on Shaar HaYichud VeHaEmunah for righteous gentiles? The book that I am referring to is about cosmology, the nature of existence, and ongoing creation. It is appropriate for all people, non-Jews as well, since its subject matter is about ideas that are applicable to all humanity -- ie: understanding the nature of existence.

We need to start somewhere! Are you up for it, Count? I think it will blow your mind (in a good way.)
