Spoke to ebay and they said it depends on the situation.
They recommended i open a case and if the seller wont provide a prepaid shipping label then they will (as long as the item is going to a USA address and under 70lb).

eBay only supplies the shipping label as a courtesy. It does not come from the seller. If you had other cases in the past year, likely eBay will not supply the shipping label.

I have spoke to multiple reps that said the buyer is always the one to cover return shipping, even if the item is defective or not as described.

If the line isn't long, I ask them for a receipt for my packages. This way, the tracking gets uploaded that day.

Those are heavily targeted, can't hurt to check your email though.

I got an item which does not match the description so I messages the seller and couldn't come to an agreement,
I opened a case about 5 days ago by the all I can do is just msg the seller (which I can do through regular msging),
How can I escalade the case? I can't find such option, iirc I should be able to do so a few days after opening the case?

And is there any risk involved in selling these things?

Depends a lot on your selling limits.

I have seen eBay accounts sell for in the thousands.

I'm not done with it, having trouble finding products. Just wondering if it's worth it to sell the account.

My limits aren't to high - 1100/$17,000

i found success evening out costs with shipping so instead of charging 5 for shipping on a 10$ item i would sell for 12.50 and have 2.50 shipping and it sells better iv'e found...

ah one of those...i'm guessing that ebay isnt crucial to your income so you can probably wait for the market to pick up. But I would consider selling an account because it isnt such a big deal to get back to decent selling limits...
