Anybody have any luck getting money or item back when getting scammed on Ebay. I sold something on ebay and got a counterfeited email saying I was paid so I shipped to random address. The most I got from ebay is that I do not have to pay the sellers fee. Aside from that, I filed a police report and ecommerce report, all to no avail. Any suggestions??

thats an old scam that targets sellers with very low post count. I have never heard of anyone getting refunded.

Yes, it's against the T&Cs. I got my listing removed and a warning from eBay. I guess the worst they can do is give you a lifetime ban.

Is there a way to word it without getting it shut?

I actually think someone reported me. A buyer offered a ridiculously low price, and then got upset when I didn't take it. I think he might have reported me to get revenge.
If they take down your listing, and you don't relist it, you're probably fine, and they just assume you didn't realize it's against the T&C s.

and did you have any issues from the completed sale (of the removed listing)?

I think I lost the feedback from that sale, but I'm not positive. Other than that, no.

I sold and shipped something to Zambia South Africa from Israel with tracking details, it updates very slowly, (seems like no normal post there as they dont have an own tracking system, so I track it by www.17track.com) and it past already the estimated delivery date from eBay, now the buyer opened a case that he didn't receive it yet.

What do I need to do?

(The last tracking update was 2015-01-21 13:36 JIMC A, Departure from transit of exchange)

TIA

A newbie question, I dont often sell on ebay and one of my items was just purchased by a buyer that just joined ebay today with no feedback. Is there any risk in selling it to him?

TIA

Once the money clears, and assuming you send it with good tracking, preferably with signature you should be ok. Usps standard tracking is not a good confirmation of delivery.

and FedEx priority overnight? Why can't he claim that I sent him an empty box?

I believe that once s/he signs to accept the package, it's done. If the package is damaged or empty, they should not accept it.

Also, I believe Fedex can confirm the weight of the box.

He can claim it was packed with rocks, but I agree, once you sign it's confirmation.

I once got an item returned (Newegg, not ebay) filled with grass. No item. No explanation or complaint from the customer either.
