Message them on Facebook (sounds weird buy I've done it and it works)

DM them on Twitter. (I've never done it but heard stories of success)

A customer wants me to send his $250 item to a different address than his original order.
I know I'm not backed up by ebay if I do that.
Can I tell him to request an order cancellation and then reorder with the address he wants?  Will that order be OK?

Thats what I always do. Even on cheap items. Just explain nicely that while you have no reason to not trust them you do not want to lose your protection as a seller.

I just wrote that I can't send to a different address than the order. She wrote back, 'no problem. cancelling immediately'. (Ebay then said it was too late for her to cancel. (it was longer than 24 hours) So I cancelled from my end. - reason from the dropdown menu: The buyer requested to cancel or there was a problem with the buyer address.) She just reordered!
Thanks.

I''ve gotten that as a buyer, just say your company policy does not let you do that etc...

I didn't get an email about this (at least not yet), but when I checked my eBay messages the offer was there.

I hadn't gotten the email yet either. I saw it on my eBay homepage.

I made a new Paypal account because my current one doesn't let me buy from PPDG.  Is there a point in making a new ebay account as well, or should I just link my current one to my new Paypal account?

Has anyone else seen a real slow down in the delivery of PPDG orders recently?

I ordered something around 2:30p and I still haven't gotten it. I used to get it in less than an hour.

Yep. Not a crazy slow down, but it's definitely been taking longer than usual. Probably a few hour delay. Used to be almost instant.

I just wanted to make sure it's not me. I had an issue with the $100 staples gcs. That PPDG said it was delivered instantly despite the fact that eBay showed it as not yet shipped.

How?
I called and asked nicely for a One-time exception.

I may have just gotten lucky, who knows?
