go to the paypal transaction and see if it says that you have seller protection for that traansaction.

if you are nervous I think USPS will allow you to pull the item back.

Ive shipped a few items to forigen accounts, they have a mail fowarding service based in the US for this.

I always put in my descriptions that I only ship to paypal verified addreses.
It shows eligible for seller protection and paypal verified address,  does that mean I'm good?

When I'm in this situation i have added sig confirm (even when not above the $$ threshold that requires it), video taped/photoed the packing and shipping.  I have had the situation turn south once, package goes missing from USPS (inside man).  Ebay charged me for non-received item, paypal quickly covered it AND i got $100 insurance from USPS priority.  Follow the rules to obtain protection and generally it's pretty good.

I purchased a phone on jan 5 which was supposed to be delivered today. Now I see usps is returning to sender, after a long phone call to usps it apperars that this guy underpaid shipping so it's being returned to sender. He paid for media and they were able to tell it wasn't.
What are my options? I want the phone so I don't want to cancel the order on the other hand till it gets back to him in CA, and than he needs to ship it back out again can be at least 2/3 weeks.

contact buyer he might be able to ship another phone right away
or ask him to express ship

BTW let this be a lesson on people that try to cheat by shipping media mail, USPS will open your packages to inspect them

Would USPS let you pay the shipping and have it delivered now?  If so, talk to the seller about him covering the cost.

Just wondering is it a good idea cancelling an item after it was sold (assuming buyer agrees) and delivered to save on ebay fees? Recently sold something for over 1k, ebay fees are exorbitant!

You can try your luck..
But you'd rather have a good rating then a few $$

Shipping is $50 over what the item price is,  ebay claims they would remove the feedback in case, but not sure if that's reliable

Try getting the buyer to cancel. Maybe you can send him some piece of junk as a good will/thank you gesture.
lesson: know the shipping cost before listing the item.

i need some advice how to beat a possible fraudster on ebay.
i bought a stroller on ebay from a seller who wrote it ships from europe so you have to be patient.
it shipped a few days after the order. yesterday it finally shows as delivered but there is nothing at my home!
now it could be usps marked as delivered and it may still come today but i have a feeling there is fraud going on here.
when i called usps a few days ago they have no info about the weight of the package. a stroller should be heavy and i noticed on usps website it said features "small packets"

i am concerned if i open an ebay case saying i didnt receive it they will just track the package and see it says delivered. thats why i am thinking of a different way to beat this fraud.
i paid with mostly ebay bucks and some on CC..

any ideas? feel free to PM
