How to get someone at eBay (as a seller) who can actually help you:

Message them on Facebook (sounds weird buy I've done it and it works)

DM them on Twitter. (I've never done it but heard stories of success)

I had a performance issue 3-4 years ago and had it resolved after filing a BBB complaint. I think it's worth a shot, it might not work, but it is likely that they will at least give you a reason.
Wow! Can you post the link to file a complaint?

Chatted, called and messaged them on Twitter. All the same response. "closed permanently, nothing anyone can do about it etc etc"
Try messaging them on Facebook. You can drop a line and say "I may have accidently put in my friends number whos had issues with eBay...."

Makes sense. Did you try contacting them?
Yeah I've chatted, called and messaged on Twitter. All with the same (extremely rude and unhelpful) answer.

Dear ....

As a PowerSeller, you’re one of eBay’s most trusted and valued sellers.

While the PowerSeller program is part of eBay’s heritage and has provided a meaningful badge for sellers, it now exists alongside eBay’s Top Rated Seller program.

Because the Top Rated Seller program offers more meaningful seller recognition as well as a wider set of benefits, we have made the decision to simplify our seller programs and retire the PowerSeller program and badge as of June 20, 2021. It’s been inspiring to see how PowerSellers have shaped eBay since the launch of the program more than 20 years ago and we now encourage you to continue your eBay journey as a part of the Top Rated Seller program. Learn more about what it means to be a Top Rated Seller.

So that you don’t lose the benefits of being a PowerSeller, starting June 20, your 7 calendar day grace period for negative and neutral feedback will now be included in the Top Rated Seller program.

In recognition of your contribution as a PowerSeller, we have created a special certificate which you can personalize and download here.

Thank you for being one of eBay’s most active and long-standing sellers, and for contributing to our heritage. We look forward to supporting you as you continue to represent the best of selling on eBay through the Top Rated Seller program.

It seems they now require your last 4 digits of your SS and DOB as well as you bank account Info to get paid from a recent sale you made.

If you want to sell on eBay they need your social security for their new managed payments system. When you were still able to use PayPal to sell, eBay didn't ask for social security.

Tough question. Why doesn't he sell on his own account?

Sold an item for $675 got $586.34 directed into my account. What is the fee breakdown? Statement wasn't clear. Was the shipping deducted from this amount?

Since they left PayPal they now charge the FVF on the tax as well

Iinm they'll deduct the shipping separately

12.55% fee on $675 is $84.72. Another $0.30 insertion fee. That leaves approx $590. Did you buy a shipping label from ebay for $3.70?

When you print the label you choose where you want to pay from. (Pending payouts or CC)

Look over your monthly invoice so you can see how much you were charged.
