20% off coupon code "CTWENTY" for all items including GCs: Max GBPounds 50 ($77); Min GBP 20 ($31)  only June 15th UK time.  Worked for me multiple times.  Buying up to $385 to get full discount.  Via doctorofcredit.com

Since most gcs must be paid directly through paypal on eBay, has anybody ever kept less than due amount in bank account to trigger the back up credit card?  I wonder...  Bummed that $385 came straight out of account instead of being able to get points on my cc. Still happy though for the 20%.

If you log into your paypal account you can change the default payment method to a CC. You can also change the payment method while purchasing, as long as you remember.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

It specifically said that to buy the gc, you have to pay "direct."  There was no option or prompt to change method at all or else I would have.  I'll log in again to try.  Thanks.

I bought gc's today with my cc.

If you have a pp balance -  that's a different story. You won't be able to change payment method,  and you'll have to use your PayPal balance.

Unless you first log into paypal and transfer that balance to your bank account

I got suspended last week while Ebay was trying to verify some of the items I was selling as authentic. My partner who as no association to my private ebay account got a suspension as well?!? how could that makes sense?

Once eBay stays banning, they get trigger happy.

Right... just pointing out that you don't "have" to use your paypal balance... you can zero it out first.

If you buy penny items, they will know you are trying to buy feedback. That's been done by many people for many years and ebay is not stupid, they know what you're trying to do. I advise you not to do it. It would be better if you buy stuff that you actually need that is about $3-$10 if you can afford it.

Here's the best thing I've found if you ever get suspended. Hope it helps you.

It's an infomercial. Are you referring to the book?

I had a minor policy violation on eBay, they removed the listing.
Now I show up in the best match results in the bottom 2%, I used to be in the top 1%.
I searched online, and even though eBay denies this, it seems they punish your best match results for a few months after a policy violation.

Does anyone know a way to help me.

Thanks!

I bought something the other day, then asked seller to cancel the order. We each got a free positive feedback. (That wasn't why I bought and canceled it. The coupon code I put in didn't work.)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

At this point I have nothing to lose, so might as well.

That makes sense. You had a transaction, so it's valid to ask you to rate how it went.

because people will buy them.

50% of the people in this world are below average intelligence.

even a below average intelligence elementary school kid knows buying a $100 gc for $110 isn't a good deal. There has got to be some other way to explains this.
