Message them on Facebook (sounds weird buy I've done it and it works)

U can open a second account place the highest bid then dont pay, request eBay to refund the fee due to non payment.
I'd suggest just asking a friend

wouldn't it reflect badly on that account?

Hello fellow Dan’s Deals’ Readers,

I need your advice on eBay’s seller protection. It’s been a long time since I sold anything on there. More recently, I managed to buy a few of the Mario Kart Live games and was planning to sell them on eBay.

I sold 1 on eBay. The package was shipped to the buyer. The very next day, the buyer filed for a refund, insisting the shipping box and tape were in poor condition and that the go kart and the usb cable were missing.  >:(

Everything was shipped in perfect condition, USPS insured too. Ultimately, I believe the buyer is trying to steal and keep the game without paying.

I talked to an eBay agent and she advised me to accept the return, let the buyer send it back and if it wasn’t what I shipped out, I can file a counter claim against the buyer. The agent insisted eBay will protect me as a seller.

What is your experience with eBay fraudsters? What should I do?

What are the pros and cons (if any) of managed payments vs the way it was until now?

Someone filed a chargeback with their credit card for an item not as described. The transaction was from August time.

eBay is giving me an option to either accept it and issue a refund or fight it and provide evidence. What type of evidence is sufficient? Is it worth it?

It seems like if you accept the claim and refund right away  eBay covers the chargeback fee, but if you fight it and lose then they charge you $20.

How much was the item?
U can start by saying that its quite fishy buyer is complaining almost 4 months ago...
Are u a top rated seller? Compared to the buyer do u have better feedback/ longer standing account?
Idk if the above will help but maybe if u call up and bring it to there attention it will help...

ebays new payment platform  makes  you put in all your info such as your social which someone told me he does not want to put into his account because  his account was banned from buying years ago due to circumvention of  quantity limits  on daily deals, and now his account is only good for selling, so if he puts in all his personal  info on the new payment platform that ebay has he thinks that he will never be able to ever open another  account in order to buy  with ebay again.

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Try to chat with a rep, that worked for me. The button didn't work, but I chatted with a rep and they were able to raise the limit to $5000 or 100 listings

I shipped some things with a label on the wrong side - is there any way that it is recoverable? I dropped it into the usps trucks bin so I dont know where it was sent to - are local packages sent to the local USPS location or directly to a sorting center? I would go down in person if I knew where to go. Thanks

Its a very valuable item

"with a label on the wrong side" What does that mean?
