Shhhh you can mail a 13 oz item in a 1 oz and get away with it.

It's called fraud!

Yes, it will usually slip by, as the post office is a mismanaged company that would have been shut years ago if it wasn't government owned.
I once heard a talk show host (possibly Mark L.) that if Apple would say they are releasing a new iPhone. Then change the date. Then say it's really an ipod, back to an iphone. Then screw up on shipping. Ship the wrong color. Mix up the service providers. Then their website would crash, be able to be hacked... the CEO would resign. Possibly suffer law suits, and then the government would shut them down.

However when Obama does the same thing with the New Health Care Reform, no one says boo.

In short, do not worry it will get there.
Also, don't do it again.

That's not always true I've had stuff come back for the stupidest reason.

And you really think it's about the extra 20 cents? It's not my fault that paypal only has flat rate envelope option and nothing else.

Even if it doesnt come baxk doesnt mean they didnt charge the other dude...but you shouldnt worry about that ,because its mainly a seller who really doesnt want the buyer to have to lay out extra money after they paid for shipping alread. ..

Yeah, I liked being at 100%. Though I guess it was bound to happen eventually.

They removed it because his complaint was that the phone was locked and I specifically told him it wasn't.

When selling high end electronics I found having a perfect score gets higher bids.
How do you get yourself to 100% ? Do you have an eBay store ? How many items do you sell to get to 100 what strategies did you use?

Yes, sort of. Instead of delivering the package to the recipient they would leave an orange notice, telling them to pick up the package at the PO- where they would have to pay the postage due before getting the package. Or sometimes they return it to the sender instead, for the additional postage amount. It depends at what point in the shipping process they notice the postage is lacking.

I was sold a faulty item and seller agrees to give a refund but I have to pay return shipping.  Is there a way to get them or ebay to pay it?

If it was really a faulty item, complain to the seller that you shouldn't have to pay return shipping for their problem. You have the upper hand because of your ability to leave feedback. It's very unfair and unethical to abuse that power, but if you genuinely received a faulty item, then it's your right to not have to pay return shipping.

As per eBay policy buyer is responsible for return shipping

You can always complain to the seller and see what they offer. You shouldn't have to pay if it was 100% not your fault (but be honest).

Big sellers will still offer you a refund.
